Committees
The Executive Committee
The purposes of the Executive Committee are to 1) capitalize on the collective strengths of The Mac’s Board leadership by providing greater teamwork and communication at the Board leadership level; 2) fulfill the Board’s oversight responsibilities for the overall compensation and benefit policies for The Mac’s Board of Directors, management and staff; as well as 3) act for the full Board of Directors between meetings of the Board only in those instances when the Board of Directors is unable to take needed action in a timely manner.
Public Relation Committee
The purpose of Public Relations Committee of the Board of Directors is responsible for monitoring MAC's services, promoting membership and volunteer recruitment programs, establishing close working relations with various media outlets and other organizations, issuing and distributing news releases, producing and distributing MAC’s newsletter.
The Investment and Finacial Committee
The purpose of the Investment and Finance Committee of the Board of Directors is to advise the full Board on investment policy, fund management, budget, financial management, and capital expenditures for Moroccan American Coalition.
Membership Committee
The purposes of the Membership Committee of the Board of Directors is to be responsible for vetting and approving partnership and membership applications by associations and individuals in accordance with the Bylaws of MAC and any additional relevant regulation adopted by the Board of Directors.
